Shudder streaming service strikes the survival thriller Quicksand into July and provides the creature characteristic Unwelcome its June launch date
A pair months in the past, the Shudder streaming service introduced that they’d be releasing the survival thriller Quicksand within the US, the UK, Eire, Australia, and New Zealand on June twenty third… however these plans have now modified. Quicksand‘s has moved again to July 14th, whereas June twenty third will see the Shudder launch of the creature characteristic Unwelcome.
Directed by Andrés Beltrán (MalaYerba) from a screenplay by Matt Pitts (Fringe), Quicksand stars Carolina Gaitán, who supplied the voice of Pepa in Disney’s Encanto, and Allan Hawco of Jack Ryan. The English-language thriller was filmed within the Colombian capital Bogota and tells the story of a married couple on the point of divorce who change into trapped in quicksand whereas mountain climbing by way of a Colombian rainforest. It’s a wrestle for survival as they battle the weather of the jungle and should work collectively with the intention to escape.
Quicksand was produced by Sangre Movies, a three way partnership between Elemental Tales, 222 Footage, and Daybreak’s Gentle Motion pictures. The person producers are Jason Cherubini of Daybreak’s Gentle Media, Nicolas Reyes of Elemental Tales, and Sean Patrick Burke of 222 Footage.
