The Mandalorian and Grogu are embarking on a brand new journey — to film theaters.

Directed by Jon Favreau, and produced by Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, and Dave Filoni, The Mandalorian & Grogu will go into manufacturing in 2024.

“I’ve cherished telling tales set within the wealthy world that George Lucas created,” stated Favreau. “The prospect of bringing the Mandalorian and his apprentice Grogu to the large display is extraordinarily thrilling.”

“Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni have ushered into Star Wars two new and beloved characters, and this new story is an ideal match for the large display,” added Kathleen Kennedy, president of Lucasfilm.

The Mandalorian & Grogu will lead Lucasfilm’s ongoing feature-development slate, together with movies helmed by Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy, James Mangold, and Dave Filoni, who can be at present growing Ahsoka Season 2, amongst these within the works.
